Top Ten Tips for Winter Care everyone should follow

Winters are here. and So we are as well.  We all love the winter season because of new winter wear clothes, different food etc
But we do not want our skin to get affected because of low humidity and dry air.
 So we are here with top ten winter care tips every one should follow.

1. Showers - Dont take long and Hot showers. A Big NO for steamy bath. The water for shower should be luke warm. If you use hot water it will damage and dry your skin. Do not go out immediately after the shower, there will be temperature difference and you will catch cold.

2. Moisturizer - you should choose your moisturizer as per your skin type and preferably the Cold Cream. Apply moisturizer atleast twice a day in the morning and at nights. Vitamin E is one of the best moisturizer i personally recommend . You get Vitamin E Capsules in the market. At night when you are applying the moisturizer mix one capsule to it specially recommended for normal to dry skin. Use the capsule once or twice per week only. Avoid alcohol based cleansers.
Use DIY Masks with Honey not more than twice a week.

3. Hair Care -  Oiling is must for hair all through the year but in winters special attention is needed.
   Apply hot oil (Olive Oil/ Coconut Oil / Castor Oil or any other oil that suits you) to your hair at night. You can apply hair mask once a week for moisturizing your hair. Hair mask like Egg white and oil mixed or banana mask.(Check our detailed Blog on Hair Masks)

4. Hand Cream and Lip Balm - Keep a hand cream and lip balm preferably Vaseline jelly ready with you in your bag and use it frequently. Otherwise your hands / Lips get dry and rough in this season.

5.  Exposure to Environment -  Try to cover your full body including head , hair, foot and hands. Harsh cold winds for longer periods on skin makes it dry and rough.

6. Hot Drinks  - Switch to Hot green Tea, Ginger Tea , lemon tea and Soups. Avoid cold / chilled drinks in winters. Drink a lot of warm water for hydrated skin. A Must do thing in winters.

7. Make Up - Winters are the best season for heavy and smoky make up on your face.
 The smoky eye make up, Bright Cherry or blood red colors on Lips and nails, Nice Hair Buns, curls,
Pink Blush on the cheeks looks are awesome in winters.

8. Foot Care -  We all know in winters are bad for skin and so it is for foot as well.
  You can use glycerin mixed with lemon juice and rose water . Apply it at night every day on as foot cream. Wear socks everyday. Do not expose your foot to the harsh environment and see the results.
The above solution of glycerin is my personal experience.

9. Soaps - Do not use any soap on your skin in winters. Use all moisturizer based soaps / even shower gels. Like Dove, Johnson's baby soap and Dove shower gels or any other moisturizer based .

10. Eat Healthy - Stay away from too much fried and spicy food. otherwise it will result in break outs in skin. Choose healthy food like veggies, Fruits like oranges etc.

1. Dry hair
Make bad hair days a thing of the past by simply warming up some Rosehip oil in a bowl (it shouldn’t be too hot, it should be slightly warm and comfortable to touch), then massage it into your hair and scalp. Leave for about an hour and then wash thoroughly; you’ll be left with soft, revitalized hair.
2. Nourishing oil for dry skin
Rosehip oil is great for the skin too, it’s rich in the essential fatty acids, such as omega-6 and omega-3. The oil is widely used in various skin care products and is very efficient in fighting signs of aging, as well as diminish photo-aging. Apply Rosehip oil to dry and cracked skin to nourish and re hydrate it. It’s especially effective on dry, elbows, knees cracked lips and heels.
3. Dull hair
If you want to re grow your hair and put the shine back into your locks, then Rosehip oil is just the ticket. Massage in slightly warmed up Rosehip oil before you wash your hair and it will bring back the shine to permed, colored or dull hair. Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins and this makes it ideal for adding bounce and silkiness back into limp, lifeless hair.
4. Moisturizer
Rosehip oil has a high content of essential fatty acids and is perfect for skin hydration. Spray a little Rosehip oil mixed with water on your skin to rehydrate and lock in the moisture. This beauty trick is especially good for summertime!
5. Scar treatment
Use pure Rosehip oil on stretch marks, age spots, hyper-pigmentation, burns and scars; its astringent and skin nourishing properties will help to speed up the healing  process, as well as hydrate and moisturize the area.
6. Dandruff 
Rosehip oil is proven to help with dandruff and other similar scalp conditions. Simply massage pure Rosehip oil into the scalp, leave it on for 30 minutes, then shampoo your hair. 
7. Sunburn
Apply Rosehip oil to sunburn and feel the soothing effect immediately. The oil will also gently aid the healing process and reduce the inflammation.
8. Nourish brittle nails
Rosehip oil can nourish and hydrate your brittle nails, making them stronger and healthier. Just massage your nails every evening during one week with Rosehip oil before going to sleep and see the wonderful difference it makes!

The signs of premature aging and skin pigmentation problems also react well to Rosehip oil. Just put a few drops of the oil on some cotton wool and dab the affected areas at least two  times a day.

Tips for Achieving the Perfect Lips…

ü  When testing lipstick in a store apply it your fingertip of your palm or wrist because your finger tip is a closer match to your natural lip color.
ü  Make sure your lip liner is in the same color family as your lipstick.
ü  If you want to make your lips look FULLER, apply a light concealer or lip liner in the “V” at the center top of your lip and feather it out.
ü  If you want to make your lipstick long lasting, apply one coat, blot it and then apply another coat. Blotting the first layer of your lipstick will remove any excess oils that may be in it. You will get matte finishes on your lips longer for that beautiful lip look.
ü  If you want to remove lipstick stains then use toothpaste, Apply toothpaste to the stain rub it before you add that piece of clothing to your wash cycle.
ü  If your lips are dark due to smoking, excess coffee, tea then try these tips for lightening your lips.  1) Apply lime juice once a day and leave it for 15-20 min’s (2) Apply toothpaste and leave it on your lips while you’re in shower. (3)Use petroleum jelly at night on your lips.   

Choose Lipstick To Match Your Outfit

§  Blue colored outfit: Go for a light pink if it a light blue and a mild red if it close to a darker blue.

§  Red colored outfit: Go for brownish or peachy shade to get the best out of the look.

§  Pink colored outfit: Go for light pink or transparent gloss. But when it comes to a lighter pink outfit then go for a bold color.

§  White colored outfit: Go for any color weather it red or pink or brown, it will look great.

§  Black colored outfit: Go for red or orange lipstick. Trust me, all eyes will be on you.

§  Green colored outfit: Green is a very tricky color, So when it comes to lip color, you need to be extra extra careful. My idea of a perfect lipstick for a green outfit is a peachy nude. Elegant and beautiful.

§  Yellow colored outfit: Yellow outfit is equal to red lipstick. I know both are bold shade.

Daily Routine to follow for Glowing skin

Hey there!! All beautiful ladies. Hope you are doing fine?

Everyone wants  a beautiful and glowing skin. But unfortunately We don’t have much time for our face to make it glowing or even care as we get busy in daily chores.

Here we are with few steps to follow every day to get beautiful skin without even spending much.

1  1.  When you wake up in the morning make it a habit to either apply a face pack
Multani mitti mixed with rose water and Honey or the
You can apply Lemon on your face even the remains of the lemon after crushing it for your lemon juice.
After applying you can do your work as well. It won’t take much time of yours. Make it a habit for atleast for 10-15 days and you yourself see the new you.

2   2.    In the evening after all the pollution on your face, try following immediately to maintain the glow.
If you have applied a good amount of make up like eye shadows, mascara , Lipstick and foundations etc then you need to first cleanse your face with either a toner or cleanser with a cotton ball.
For a normal make up you can just wash your face with a normal face wash and then immediately apply a moisturizer is must.
Remember to choose the moisturizer and Face wash according to your skin type.

3.  3.   At night if time permits you, try to apply a massage cream on face and all your hands just before you go to sleep. It helps rejuvenating your skin and gives you that glow next morning.

4.       4. Weekends are always relaxing and we should pamper ourselves. If you have spent much time in sun and you are fully tanned in your outing. Don’t worry just take a tomato and rub for 5-6 days continuously all over your exposed parts be it a face or legs / Foot. You will see your glow back with a bang.

       5. One important point which probably we normally ignore is spending a quality time and getting intimate with your partner . This is very very important to release your stress and relax a bit for attaining the glowing face. Even if you are a house wife / working women with children you have to do this. It would be best to make your bedroom or your house a romantic place with decorations or what ever you feel your partner likes. Its very important to have a enjoyable sex with your partner very often. You can yourself see the change in your face and even in your partners. 

The above steps are so simple/ Economical to follow in our daily routine.
